[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] tried/failed Posted by jklingel on Apr 21 2005 I like Neil's method a lot. However, in Cook Inlet the tides and weeds/halibut carcasses kill me. I always get my lines so clogged I can't operate them, and/or the tides rip everything loose when the weeds/carcasses get thick and there is so much resistance on the ropes. Without weeds, this works real well. I am resolved to anchoring out farther and taking a small craft (maybe even a float tube) to fetch the boat.
