Klutina

It is a swift river with alot of big rocks, but the water is fairly clear and the channels are well defined.  As usual going up is easier, but coming down can be difficult getting on step while trying to keep your speed sensible.  Always leave yourself some throttle for a quick obstacle dodge.  There will be some fair sized rollers, so a v-hull works the best but I use a flat bottomed tunnel hull and get by fine because its what I've got.  Make sure your boat is running well and watch your fuel tanks close because it can get hairy quick when your not under power. Like I said earlier it is a fast, powerful river with lots of big goonies. Be safe and have fun.
