boat

Motor is very small for that size boat.

One of my friends has a 17' Wooldridge Alaskan with a 115 Yamaha over a jet, so he's pushing about 90hp at the jet.  IMO his setup is a little under powered, but it goes ok.

How many hours are on the boat/motor?  Where was it used?  Saltwater?  What shape is the trailer in?  Who did the service on it?

Take it for a test drive, unless all your water is hard like mine :)
