Achilles parts
Posted by SENTINEL on Apr 12 2005
Marita can replace anything for you on that boat, even the transom. Make sure you carry a spare inflation valve which you can get at Alaska raft and kayak. One of my buddies managed to break one on my SU-18 the morning we left for the big November Knight Island deer hunt. Boy am I glad it happened in the driveway and not out in PWS. They work well but are kind of fragile. BTW, mine is a 1991, and it's still good as new. Achilles uses a Hypalon outer shell with a neoprene liner. In my opinion they are the finest inflatables out there.
