FINALLY CALLED AMDS - GOT THE ANSWER
Posted by John S on Apr 05 2005
Ok,

I figured there had to be an easy solution to this problem, so I called someone who makes dual outboard installations.  I talked to the AMDS service department.

The item required is called an anti-siphon valve.  They said I need two, one on each fuel hose at the outlet from the fuel filter assembly.  I then called West Marine and they have it in stock, it is threaded on one end and barbed on the other.  If it helps anyone for the future, you can see it at:  http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=72746

Thanks for all the ideas
