Suggestion. For many years, I took an extra battery and a few wrenches (already had the WENCH!) in my riverboat. Recharge the battery at home peroidically, and never leave it sitting on directly on concrete or a metal boat. It was simple and cheap. Then if one battery dies, you can just throw it overboard (kidding). Lock the extra one down with a bungie and go. j
