Hey I own a 94 Jetcraft and it is one solid boat.  I would do a little research on the construction.  Jetcraft used to be made mom and pop in Oregon and now are owned and made by Harbercraft i believe.  If they are following the same guidelines they used to however, it is a great boat.  Mine is 18 foot and I use it on rivers as well as Valdez.
