I got the King trailer when I purchased the boat at AMDS.  I have a hydraulic surge setup.  I see the latest and greatest is an electrical activated hydraulic unit. Champion trailers has a good website with instruction pages for DIY brake change over and complete kits.  Took me day to do the second axle, probably a half day for the third.  Six Robbles can get you parts too.
