black river/oshetna river
Posted by averageguy on Feb 23 2005
Looking to float the Oshetna river via Black Lake/River to the Susitna.  Only references I've been able to find is a kayak account in the mid 80's that classified both rivers as fast class II and III with occasional boulder drops, nothing to sketchy by the kayakers account.  I don't have a kayak.  I've got a sled type inflatable.  Any input on inflatables  up there?

Thanks
