calndux just an opinion.  I purchased a used 94 Jetcraft 18' last year.  The boat is bomb proof.  Much more heavy duty than alot of the other aluminums out there.  You do trade weight (heavier) for durability with a Jetcraft.  I would suggest that you research if the boat you are looking at was in fact built by Jetcraft or by Harbercraft, who bought out Jetcraft a few years back.  As for the airboat they are obviously alot louder and not as well accepted by other sportsmen as a jet boat!
