Tax deduction
Posted by DreamCatcher on Feb 11 2005
Snowwolfe:  New to forum and first message.  Learned from my tax preparer that if you keep a fuel log you can deduct the highway tax on your tax return.  I prefer station pumps due to less water in fuel issues.  Nice boat selection BTW.  We have a Seasport 24 Explorer model.  Let me know if you are interested in sharing info on boat setup.  I'm still adding goodies to mine.  GPS plotter best money I ever spent for PWS cruising, followed by Floscan fuel meter (fuel gauges inaccurate), Wallas stove/heater, windlass this spring, radar someday.
