cataraft width
Posted by MIhunt on Jan 14 2005
question how narrow can i make my 16ft cataraft frame i am looking at a river thats not so wide if you know what i mean poss better suited to a canoe but i made a raft frame for last falls trip & given the expense ide like to modify this frame or build narrower yokes for it but how much can or should you go currently the yokes are 48 inches wide plus approx another 26" overall after the tubes are installed. i would like to keep the whole rigs width to around 48" for this river & yes the oars also would need to be shorter. Any thoughts or advice ..........regards jeff
