c-dory
Posted by fsfst1 on Jan 13 2005
I don't own one, but I did a lot of research on them when I was looking to purchase a boat.  They have almost a cult following in the northwest.  If you search the web, you will find several chat groups specifically for c-dory boats.  I concluded that they were well built, well laid out and efficient boats.  Performance in the way of speed was somewhat lacking compared to some deeper V boats.  However, the efficiency made up for the lack of performance.  You can hang a small 4-stroke (90hp or so) off the back and motor along at a decent pace, in comfort and safety, without spending a fortune on gas.  That's what I know of them.....Maybe an owner will chime in with more info.  Also, check with Alaska Mining and diving supply.  They carry the brand and should know of some owners to put you in contact with.
