Rocket Launcher for My Harbercraft
Posted by John S on Jan 12 2005
Hello, I'm looking for some ideas.  I want to install a rocket launcher on my 18' Harbercraft to store rods out of the way.  We often make 2-3 day trips for both salmon and halibut and the 6-8 rods are always in the way on my smaller boat.  I have the Harbercraft 1825 with a windshield, canvas top, vinyl side windows and a rear drop curtain.

I want a rocket launcher that is light, removable, and keeps the rod butts away from my head.  I am going to have Mike's Welding in Sterling build it for me.  I just wanted to get some ideas from other people before I talk with him about what to build.  Hewescraft boats are very similar in design to my Harbercraft (also known as Jetcraft)  If you have previous experience building one of these or might be able to e-mail me a photo of your installation, that would be GREAT.

Thanks,
John
