Just wondering if anyone here has run a boat around Wrangell in S.E. Alaska?  I'm looking at running from Petersburg down to Bradfield Canal, and was hoping for any local information.  I know the water gets very silty from the Stikine River in those parts.  Any problems with silt in the water impellor?  I'm planning on going around the north east side of Wrangell Island.

Just for some background, I live in Sitka, and am fairly experienced with boating around these parts, and have even run Wrangell Narrows a few times.  But I've never been in that particular area before.
